## Rate limits

- **60 requests/minute per IP** across all API endpoints (`/api/*`, `/mcp`, `/.well-known/mcp`, `/ask`, `/status`).
- Every response carries `X-RateLimit-Limit`, `X-RateLimit-Remaining`, `X-RateLimit-Reset` (Unix seconds).
- 429 responses carry `Retry-After` (seconds). Self-throttle on those headers.

Every error is a structured JSON envelope:
